Grants can feel confusing. And when you’re not sure what to do first, it’s easy to stall.

Maybe you’ve read the guidelines twice. Maybe you’re wondering if you’re even eligible. Maybe you’ve got a good idea, but you’re not sure how to turn it into something funders will say yes to.

Sound familiar?

Grant Buddie helps you get unstuck at the start of the grant process. You’ll get clear on your project, get organised, and do a quick fit check before you invest your precious time in writing.

Grant Buddie - your friendly first-step guide to grants

She helps you de-mystify, check if a grant is a good fit, and get organised, before you apply.

  • Get clear on the projects you want to fund

  • Check basic fit and eligibility early

  • Understand what you need to be grant-ready

  • Take your next step with confidence, without overwhelm

How It Works

  • Enter your name and email to get access.

  • Open Grant Buddie in ChatGPT (a free account is fine).

  • Use the prompts or ask Buddie a few quick questions and get your next steps before you start your grant application.

Why is this different?

This isn't generic grant advice or random AI tips.

No fluff. No judgement. Just clear, practical first steps that help you get organised, check 'fit' early, and move forward before you start writing.

Grant Buddie is built on the grant success process behind $110M+ in funded grants for Prue’s clients (last 6 years) and a further $55M+ secured by clients writing their own applications (last 18 months).

If grants feel confusing, you’re not behind.

You just need a clear first step.

Grant Buddie helps you get organised and check 'fit' early,
so you don’t waste time on the wrong grant.

'Get Ready For Grants' Easter Special

I've been listening closely to the things my grant writing community is struggling with. I've been hearing the blockages people are having to progress and write grants, and that many find grants overwhelming, or don't know where to start.

The need has been growing, so I carefully considered what will help you the best, and created 'Get Ready For Grants' as an Easter Special.

Don't worry, the 'getting ready' part is not lengthy! It's two live, short get-it-done sessions, plus easy templates. You then receive ongoing support so that you can write grant applications (with a grant master in your back pocket).

Here are some organisations who have been clients.

Imagine the transformation with a planned and supported grant process!

'Get Ready For Grants' is for you if you're on a mission…to seek growth, and passionate about turning your projects into reality. We believe everyone has the potential to write grant applications that secure funding, and it doesn't have to be difficult.

It's why Prue started the Grant Writing Academy in 2020...to make grant writing easier for you.

Here is what's included in the 'Get Ready For Grants' Easter Special - but it's only available until 1 April 2024!

#1: Two no-fuss Get Ready For Grants guided sessions!

Live, get-it-done online sessions to get momentum for grant success:

Wednesday 17 April and 24 April at midday (AEST).

The perfect length (45 minutes each) so you can fit this into your schedule or lunch break.

Plus easy templates and information that won't be daunting.

Prue will guide you so you can check off a heap of grant-ready tasks:

  • Get ahead of your competition with a grant plan and first-draft budget in place.
  • No more confusion or last-minute scramble for documents to attach to the application; you will have everything you need to ensure a smooth, stress-free application process.
  • We'll walk you through how to successfully align your project with your funder's intent, and the latest trends, increasing your chances of success
  • Proven strategies to pick out grants that are a perfect match for your project - elevate your chance of securing that coveted grant!

A systematic and low-stress grant process is FAR more likely to get your grant in the 'yes' pile .

The process I teach and the Live assistance your receive in the Grant Writing Academy (GWA) Membership helps you to be ready for grants and to write your application in a way that eliminates stress. Having an organised way to plan, research and write your applications will instantly give you momentum and clarity.

The flexible learning environment and library of resources (constantly growing) is there for you EVERY SINGLE MONTH so you can produce high quality grant applications.

This is a unique opportunity. The GWA Membership is the only one-stop-shop Australian grant writing program of its kind. It’s the perfect way to learn from a Grant Master who has written successful grant applications to secure $51.8 million in grants for clients in the last six years!

Grants are becoming more competitive...and it's important your application impresses the assessor.

What if you don't learn how to improve your grant applications?

You need to embrace what I call: "Grant Impact Factors"

Those who continue to stay with their old school grant approach (being unorganised, not keeping up to date with what funders are looking for, and 'throwing together' applications at the last minute) will find it harder and harder to get grant funds.

They continue to hope that this will get them the money.

But you and I both know that "hope" is never a good grant strategy.

So, why is now the perfect time for grant-seekers to act?

The need to embrace "Grant Impact Factors" combined with the increasing competition has people like you needing to ensure you create high quality grant applications.

Applications which impress the funding assessment team and are successful will help you realise your goals.

The Grant Writing Academy Membership joining period closes 13 December, 10pm AEST

There is a specific reason the joining period for the Grant Writing Academy Membership is only available for a short period of time.

It's important to spend time serving our audience vs. promoting to our audience, so the

enrolment is only open for a specific time. We then shift gears to focus our energy on teaching, supporting, and helping you create high quality grant applications.

That's why it's important you note that the registration period ends at 10:00 pm AEST on Saturday, 31 December. You must register before this time.

Another reason not to miss out is that the GWA Membership price will increase next year. If you join now, your price will be locked in for as long as you stay a continual member, while new Members will pay the higher 2023 price.

If you have any questions, you should read these…

How much time will it take?

It's totally up to you how much time you want to spend accessing and reviewing all the information. Typically, it will take between 1-4 hours per month to watch and interact in the live sessions (or the replays) and download the resources. You can also interact as little or as much as you like in the Facebook group. You can post as many questions as you wish. Prue may also invite you to be a guest on one of the Live sessions to delve into your grant questions a little deeper.

Do I need to be in Facebook to access the sessions and material?

The membership's resources can be accessed via two different platforms; the GWA Membership private Facebook group and the web-based portal. The twice-monthly Live Grant Update and Q and A sessions alternate between Zoom and Streamyard (via Facebook) and are recorded. The video is available in the resource library within 24 hours of the event. All the new grants are listed in a document which is added to the resource library on both platforms. So you are alerted to grants as soon as possible, the opportunities are posted into the GWA Facebook group as soon as possible. If you're not wanting to join the GWA Facebook Group, you would miss out on some of the support – you won't get to read the regular posts, updates, member questions or Prue's regular motivations, reminders and prompts.

Do I need to be tech-savvy to be involved?

Not at all, if you have a smart phone and internet you can access the membership. We send you all the links you need and can provide help if you need a little extra support. We run an Introduction session and will help you navigate the GWA membership Facebook group so you feel comfortable.

How much does it cost?

You have two choices: • Monthly @ $49 (including GST) or • Annually @ $490 (including GST) and get two months free. The price is great value as all the inclusions are worth more than $7,000. Payment options are credit card only. We accept all major credit cards.

What if I change my mind or want to stop my subscription?

That's okay as we offer a 21-day no questions asked refund if we are not the right fit for you. If that's the case, just email us and we'll get things organised. If you are paying monthly, just let us know if you would like to cease your monthly subscription and we'll stop the payments. If you are paying annually, we will let you know 1-month before your subscription ends.

What's the access and registration process?

To register, you simply click the link which will take you to the product page and payment process – it only takes a couple of minutes. You will then get an email with a link to register for the private GWA Membership Facebook Group. You will need to list your name and the email address you registered with and agree to the Group Rules to be granted access. All the resources are in the Files section. We will add you to the GWA portal (during business hours) and you will receive an email with your login and a password, which you can change if you wish. You can access the portal and all the resources whenever you like. Additional resources are added to the GWA Membership Facebook Group and the GWA Portal within 1-2 working days, depending on how much editing the video requires.

How much access do I get to Grant Master Prue?

Prue will be regularly in the GWA Membership Facebook Group answering questions to any posts. Each month she will also run the 2 live Q and A sessions and the Tutorial (which are recorded in case you miss them). You can ask questions during any of these sessions or if you can't make it live you can post your question into the GWA Membership Facebook Group and Prue will answer it during the Live session. She tries her best to fit in Live sessions around any holiday breaks.

Can I pay for more than 1 person in the Membership?

Yes, you can. You just need to select the number of people on the payment page. In the notes section, add the first and last name, plus email address of the people you wish to register. We will add the additional people manually to our system so they get all our emails sent directly to them.

Is there a bonus?

Yes, there is! If you register and pay for an annual subscription before midnight on Saturday, 23 October 2021 you will get a tech organiser worth $80. It's a high quality zippered shockproof soft case, with heaps of compartments and straps, perfect for keeping all your tech accessories neat and organised. It will be unique – with GWA's logo laser-engraved on the front.

Is the Membership only for not-for-profits and community groups?

No, the training and assistance is relevant, no matter what industry you are in. The regular grant posts include ALL federal and state opportunities. The Tutorials and Grant Updates and Q and As are equally relevant to everyone. Prue has significant experience with helping micro and SME business clients, helping clients with grants up to many millions.

I have other questions how can I get answers?
